New Target Date Fund Added

SSgA Target Retirement 2050 Fund.

Current Annual Rates of Return for the First Quarter of 2012 (as of January 1, 2012):
South Carolina Stable Value Fund: 3.70%
84-Month Certificate Fund: 2.25%

An Increase to Contribution Limits in 2012:
The contribution limits for the 401(k) and 457 plans have increased for 2012.

The Deferred Compensation Program Local Office has Moved. The local office of the South Carolina Deferred Compensation Program has moved to a new suite in the same building.

Timing of Contribution Changes: 401(k) contribution changes will be effective within one to two pay periods depending on your employer's payroll cycle, and 457 contribution changes will be effective the following month based on your employer's payroll cycle.

Purchase Service Credit Reminder
To purchase service credits, you must complete the Purchase of Service Credit form found in the Forms section of the website.
